The only way to prove Donald Trump is incompetent, and just a general Ass-Hat, is to let him screw up the country. So here we go...
The theory is "Shut the door to any outsiders, and we will be just fine, all by ourselves"... you don't get it do you Donny...
The reason America is Great, is because of all the cheap labour you have been able to exploit for the last 100 years, slavery never really left America, it was just replaced with something called "The Cheap Labour Pool"
And without it, prices will skyrocket as many agricultural and manufacturing business's depend on it.
Now where do you think all your water comes from? Canada, all your cheap electronics? China, all your cheap strawberries, bananas, clothing and cars that actually last more than 100,000 KM .... every where else, not the US.
Its ironic the US wants to own the Panama Canal, but is putting up trade barriers so nothing will be shipped to the US anyway?
The world is now one big economy, gone are the days when you can just dump your tea in the Bay and say piss on you, we will do just fine. Everything is connected. And it doesn't take much for a disruption to cause a catastrophic economical meltdown.
We have seen Credit Crisis, Dot Com Bursts, Housing Bubbles, and a Pandemic, send shivers up the Economic Spines of Countries and cause Recessions and Market crashes. It doesn't take much for the house of cards to collapse. So is it? Time will tell but all of the info I see tells me the Orange Mopped Gladiator is out to slay a Dragon of his own making... is it revenge for a year of prosecution? Or an obscure take over the world plan by and Evil Dictator? Only time will tell.
In my previous post I stated, "We will survive" but it will take some time. If you haven't taken my financial advice yet, well it might be a little too late, markets crashed today, so lets wait and see what happens tomorrow, and the next 60 days, but by now you should have rebalanced your gains into Bonds... Bonds are up approximately 5% since the start of the rate reduction cycle, and have room to go, Stocks on the other hand have room to fall. At this writing the Nasdaq has paired a full 15% putting it in correction territory, and all other markets are pairing gains. Tesla is leading the pack, along with several other Tech giants, the writing is on the wall, in great big white letters.
Crude has taken a huge hit, and Gold is skyrocketing, this only happens when there is fear in the streets, and let me tell you, people are running scared. And this in itself is enough of a trigger, once the VIX peaks, people will create their own financial crisis, with or without a true recession, but raising the prices of everything, while losing jobs and wages (stagflation) is a dooms day scenario.
All we can do now is wait...
But maybe we don't have to wait too long, as the the red headed jester, makes war with every country to doesn't deem fit to be apart of the world, at least his world, his popularity is plummeting and his cabinet is shedding bodies faster than the hindenburg, sorry hindenburg.
To date he has fired 2 top bimbos, for lack of implementing his will and a 3rd pulled the pin today, all female, and all somewhat good looking, I might add. What is with that, could it be these people were incompetent, and should never have held these offices? The US court seems to thinks so, as it scrubs dozens of cases brought to bear by the Attorney General Pam Bondi, who lost her job 2 weeks ago. Lets see if a Newby can get Trumps Vendetta against his enemies accomplished.
Mid terms are coming, and it could be a bloodbath, or not, but the consensus is Republicans will lose seats, and they cannot afford to, as they only have a razor thin majority now, things could get ugly, very soon.
